🎯 The Mission & Philosophy
The mission behind the content (articles, analysis and tools) on Quantificate.ca is to share a point of view (my point of view), blend factual data and weave it together into a perspective that I hope will add value to you. As such, all my work here represents how I perceive and approach the subjects I cover. And that is how I intend you, the reader to view it as well; a different lens, an additional perspective, a useful tool, and as a means to an end.
My work is meant to provide direction and I strongly encourage readers to use their intellectual faculties, apply the commonsense test and explore further (or dismiss) anything that does not make sense. The topics I cover on Quantificate.ca range from fun and trivial, to some that pique my curiosity, and others that are more serious and sensitive.
⚠️ Acknowledgment of Limitations
It is in this sentiment that I want to say that mistakes can (and will inevitably) be made. This does not mean improper care will go into producing any work (in fact the whole premise of Quantificate is to inform perspectives with factual data), rather, general oversight (or human error).
To maintain proper quality control, for any tools I create, I will also create and share a backup spreadsheet friendly tool to routinely test and compare (simply because I have had more hands-on experience with spreadsheets). For any analysis I conduct and data I use, I will properly link and cite sources.
